Meeting the design challenges of nano-CMOS Electronics |
Gordon StewartGrid Research Assistant
Gordon Stewart is a Research Assistant and Grid Engineer working for the National e-Science Centre at the University of Glasgow. He graduated from the university in 2006 with a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Software Engineering, and has been working for NeSC ever since, principally on the EPSRC project Meeting the Design Challenges of Nano-CMOS Electronics, but also on various smaller projects including the Scottish Bioinformatics Research Network (SBRN) and OMII-UK’s Resource Aware Visualization Environment (OMII-RAVE). In the Nano-CMOS project, Gordon’s work involves collaborating with the electronics engineers to construct a framework of grid services and portlets which can be used or further developed by the partners. His role also involves providing support for this software. | |
